Greater Noida to Acquire 900 Hectares for Eight New Industrial Sectors
The Greater Noida authority is set to expand its industrial landscape by acquiring approximately 900 hectares across eight new sectors. This strategic move comes as part of a bold urban development initiative to bolster investment and infrastructure in the region
What’s Happening
- The targeted sectors—Ecotech 7, 8, 9, 12A, 16, 19, 19A, and 21—span nearly 900 hectares, earmarked for industrial development
- Land acquisition is nearly complete, with 90% already secured from farmers. The remaining parcels are expected to be procured within the next three months
Infrastructure and Planning
Construction tenders for roads, sewage systems, drainage networks, parks, and water supply are being finalized. Once approved, development is slated to commence within a quarter
Support for Landowners
In line with previous YEIDA initiatives, Greater Noida authority is enhancing civic amenities—such as improved roads, basic services, and public utilities—to ensure local communities are well-supported and onboard during the transition.
